This is an original fairy-tale written by me! Yes.... I am aware that "Bananas" is an odd title. But once you read the story, you'll understand. As you may have read in my first post, I told you that I was VERY weird. This post will help to give you an idea of precisely what I meant:
Once upon a time, there was a princess who's dream was to befriend a banana. She imagined it to be something like this:
But that was not to be, because an evil sorcerer had taken all of the bananas from the land in which the princess lived. "MWAHAHA (evil laugh)!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have all of the bananas in the land!!" the evil sorcerer said as she looked into her magic mirror. You see this magic mirror showed her all of the kingdom, the kingdom in which she had taken the bananas from. She could see the princess in her magic mirror, who was crying & saying,"If only I had a banana! We would be friends forever! That is my one & only dream! But the evil sorcerer has taken them all! What should I do?!?!" Upon seeing this, the evil sorcerer smiled & said,"I shall go into the kingdom to buy a new pair of shoes, since I have worn this pair of shoes out! While I am there I shall trick the princess & put her under a spell so that she will never see the light of day again! Then I will rule the land!!!!!!!!!MWAHAHA (again...evil laugh)!!!!!"
So the evil sorcerer left her cave that she called home, to go to the kingdom so she could buy some new shoes & take over the land. She brought with her some poisoned bananas that she would use to put the princess under a spell so that she could take over the kingdom!!! Though the bananas she brought looked quite normal, they were not. You see they were quite small compared to most bananas, & if the princess put them on her head, the sorcerers spell would come over her & the evil sorcerer would take over the kingdom.
Once the sorcerer got to the kingdom, she set off to find her new shoes. After hours of looking, she found the pair she wanted & bought them. You see, these were magic shoes, which means when the evil sorcerer tapped her heals together & said "there's no place like home" three times, she would return to the cave that she called home. "These will work perfectly for last minute escapes." she said to herself. Then she put on the magic shoes and set off for the palace.
Finally the evil sorcerer got to the palace in which the princess lived. With much difficulty, she was able to secretly pass the palace guards and get inside. Once she found the princess' room, she disguised herself as a handsome prince & knocked on the princess' bedroom door. "Who is it?" said the princess. "It's the handsome prince of course!" said the evil sorcerer in a deep voice.
"A handsome prince? Why didn't you say so before! Oh, then please do come in, for I am the beautiful princess who rules the kingdom!" the princess said happily. The evil sorcerer opened the door to the princess' bedroom, which was quite large & very beautiful. The princess looked at the "prince". "Why hello! what brings you to the palace?" she said. "Well," said the "prince"," I have brought you a gift!" "You have? Why thank you! What is it?" "Well," the "prince" began,"I have brought you some bananas!" The princess stood up from her stool on which she had been sitting. "Oh my," she said," you are too kind! Thank you so very much! How could I ever repay you?!?!" The "prince" smiled & handed her the poisoned bananas. "Well, I don't need much, but perhaps you could set them on your head. That would be wonderful!" The princess looked at the bananas, and thought for a while.
"Hmmm I wonder what type of prince would ask me to do that?" she said to herself in her mind. She looked closer at the bananas that she'd been given. Then she realized- this was no prince, it was the evil sorcerer in disguise! And these were not just any bananas, but poisoned bananas!
She said nothing to the sorcerer in disguise, in case she had a back-up plan to do a last minute escape. Instead, she held the bananas tightly in one hand & ran towards the sorcerer at full speed & pushed her down onto the hard floor with the other hand. "AAAAAAHHHHH" yelled the sorcerer. Suddenly the sorcerer's disguise vanished. The evil sorcerer sat up & began to click her heals together saying,"There's no place like home. There's no place like home. There's no pla-" But she didn't get to finish for the princess put the poisoned bananas on the evil sorcerer's head, & the evil sorcerer fell asleep instantly.
"HURRAY!!!!! The evil sorcerer has been defeated! Now everyone in the kingdom can have bananas! We all must celebrate!!!!" cried the princess.
So there was a big celebration & everyone in the land came. They had banana pudding, banana sandwiches, banana ice cream, banana soup, banana cupcakes, banana flavored chicken, pork, & beef, banana drinks, & pretty much banana everything- even just plain bananas. They also played music & sung songs about bananas! Once the banana festival was over, the kingdom had a special ceremony, during which they gave the princess her very own banana, & her only dream finally came true!!!!! So from that day on, the princess & her banana lived Happily Ever After.
